Books serve to show a man that those original thoughts of his aren't very new after all. ~Abraham Lincoln

Warriors: Into the Wild
By Erin Hunter

'Warriors - Into the Wild' is the first book of the Warrior Cats series. It tells the story of Rusty, a house cat who dares to venture into the woods, the home of the Clan cats. He is swept into their world, a world of danger and excitement. As he is a house cat, he has to fight for his right to be a warrior in ThunderClan. As he learns about the world of a warrior, he meets cats he do not accept him for who he is, and other cats who don't care who he is, just knowing that he stands in their way.

I loved this book, because it gives a really different perspective on the life of a cat. It really engages you in the story, allowing you to really relate to the cats. The story-telling is really exciting, and it is a brilliant introduction to the series. It is full of adventure, with just a little hint of magic - enough to be exciting, but not too much as to make it a deus ex machina.

I highly reccomend this book to anyone who likes cats, adventure or a good read.
