Books serve to show a man that those original thoughts of his aren't very new after all. ~Abraham Lincoln

The Magic Apostrophe
By Jenny Sullivan

The Magic Apostrophe is not a book about grammar. It's a book about a thirteen year old girl, who suddenly discovers that she is a witch. Living in modern-day Wales and being a witch doesn't seem too hard, until Astarte Perkins gets chucked into the equation. When things start getting a little weird...well...more weird than normal, Tan(')ith will have to do all she can to save the day.

I really loved this book, because of all the twists and turns. It's really engaging with brilliant charcters who you can really relate to. The plot is absolutely fantastic, really exciting, yet still related to everyday life. The magic in it isn't too powerful, but is still powerful enough to be really exciting. The brilliant start to a brilliant sequel.
